Anthony Tombling Jr.’s CUTS project drops a remix release for one of the standout tracks from April 2018’s EXIST 1 EP. ‘Dream Voyager’, a Ben Frost-esque swell of synths and digital distortion, still sounds just as impressive as when it opened up EXIST 1. The Dream Voyager EP sees the original bolstered by two contrasting remixes - one from fellow Village Green affiliate Ben Chatwin, the other courtesy of shoegaze legends Slowdive. While Slowdive opt for a dystopian synthwave vibe that recalls Johnny Jewel, Chatwin doubles down on the doomy atmospherics.
