Electronic pop release ‘Camera’ by Chromatics is a surprise vinyl-only EP from the quartet offering new mixes of ‘Dear Tommy’, ‘Showcase’ and three renditions of the title track which feature an updated vocal appearance made by Ruth Radelet replacing the original recording with Adam Miller that debuted back in 2013. Feeding into the hype surrounding the release of the band’s long awaited DEAR TOMMY album in a manner similar to previous 12” releases such as ‘Shadow’ and ‘Just Like You’, Chromatics half confirm DEAR TOMMY will finally be with fans some time this autumn. With sparse, atmospheric percussion and pop compositions framed by negative space, the title track of Chromatics’ EP is an ode to love documented from the perspective of a camera wishing to experience the world through the eyes of its user.
