With interest building for Maribou State’s third full-length album - set to drop in September 2018 - the London duo ramp up the excitement with this new single. The group collaborating with Khruangbin makes sense. Despite the different ways the two acts go about creating their music, there is a shared emphasis on melody and their tracks tend to conjure similar sunset atmospheres. Both acts play to their strengths on ‘Feel Good’. This is a lush tune that finds Maribou State peppering Khruangbin’s typically light funk groove with little production flourishes. You get the impression that working together felt natural for both sides.
