Another great release from Radovan 'Secondo' Scasascia's alternative production pseudonym on his own Dreck records label. Opening with the gentle, stuttering funk of 'So It Goes' - a track built on subtly shifting time-signatures to give it that stumbling, 'J-Dilla' feel. Discordant stabs provide a hook that weaves in and out of the complex, rhythmical matrix.
'Pellicci', on the flip-side, is a beautiful, hallucinogenic nebulae. Orchestral sweeps are played through huge reverb plates and detuned, sepia-toned, Rhodes piano chords chime lazily over the gentle percussion. Essential music again from Dreck records.
