A new EVOL release always provokes a quiver of excitement. Who knows what the computer hooligans will give us this time? Well, as you might have guessed from its title, Ideal Acid is a 303-heavy release. However, this is far from your typical bassline-and-909 DJ tool. Across the twenty minutes of music here EVOL modulate between dozens of different loops, most of which last no more than a bar. In the hands of less consummate artists this would be a mess, but EVOL have managed to make it work. Of course they did. They always do. This is more than just your Ideal Acid - it’s all the acid you’ll ever need.
