‘Are you seriously suggesting that Jesus Christ was a mushroom? Yes!’ opens up this skewed, sample-heavy and downright unusual tape release from Brassfoot and the NCA label. The short press release states the tape is the result of couple man locked in a studio with some shrooms and tunes and we’d be lying if we said we couldn’t hear it. What the studio, which goes by the name ‘Black Void’, is made up of we’ve got no idea but the effort these guys have gone to in order to fill the tape with out of this world samples is highly impressive.
