Posthuman's Balkan Vinyl hit 25 releases by cutting some of the labels key rarities and digital only tracks with LFO / Plaid / B12 / Luke Vibert / Andreas Gehm / Global Goon.
LFO's I Love Acid starts things off with a wonderfully crunchy 303 wriggler, slowly building in intensity before peaking with some raw, rubbery baselines that wouldn't sound out of place on an Apron 12". Luke Vibert's Jungle Hitler sounds like a classic Amen Andrews banger, it's Babylon sample adding a cheeky twist to the caustic DNB rhythms. Plaid's Hui finds the duo in a particularly playful mood while giving some of the experimental edge that made Double Figure such an important album.
Andreas Gehm's Heaven & Hell is peak time 303 euphoric madness, while Global Goon's Graehzrhd sounds like The Doubtful Guest gone electro. B12 meanwhile end things with a rare acid outing, if you remember the mind blowing Balkan B12 track Free Flight from 2010 then this is one to get you properly excited.
Massive respect to Posthuman for constantly pushing these sounds forward with complete style and tunes for days. I love acid = I love Balkan.
