Following regular appearances at Afterlife parties in Ibiza and with two tracks featured on the ‘Realm of Consciousness’ compilation series, Recondite releases a new body of solo work and keeps it within the Tale Of Us family. ‘Rainmaker’, sold as a double-vinyl EP, features a selection of tracks that would all fit in nicely at an Afterlife live show, delicate techno works with an emphasis on melodic synth sections over heavy drum patterns, a thoughtful use of atmospheric tension supplying the mood on intro works like ‘Valvate’. A highlight of the EP can be found in ‘Saudade’, already featured on the Tale of Us Fabric 97 mix, supplying an episode of blissful rhapsody.
