This collaborative release between Bongo Joe and the excellent Mississippi Records fronts a new collection from outsider art OG The Space Lady. The Space Lady has been touring and performing on the hippie-art circuit for almost half a century now, and she channels all of the wisdom of her years into this tranquil, uplifting LP. Many of the cuts from On The Streets Of Dreams bear the influence of the New Age/cosmic jazz innovations of artists like Laraaji and Alice Coltrane, their Casio keyboard tracks pitter-pattering along under TSL’s sweet singing. Some, however, are more straightforward Vashti Bunyan-style fare - check the lovely ‘Oh Brave New World’.
