RP Boo delivers his first album of contemporary footwork styles for Planet Mu. Having released two now-classic long players from his archive with 'Legacy' and 'Fingers, Bank Pads & Shoe Prints', I'll Tell You What! is all new material and lands 30 years since cutting his teeth DJing for the legendary House-O-Matics.

First things first, wow... We have long been devotees to RP Boo's brand of footwork but I'll Tell You What! steps things up to create an album's worth of properly rude styles that while they carry the footwork flag strong, really push the genre up to some seriously skyscraping new heights. Experimenting with slower tempos and crowbarring open the footwork landscape, it's as if RP Boo is seeing how far he can roll the snares and push his sound into levels of sheer maddening and experimental structures while still staying true to the dancefloor mechanics of this music

Sort of the best trap via hip-hop and soul mixtape mashup you could dream of discovering, I’ll Tell You What! Is also a defining moment within what constitutes footwork as a genre. Hats off to the Punisher for delivering one of the most weird and vitally crucial for it records to emerge from himself and the scene as a whole yet. It's gonna take a long while to untangle our minds and limbs from this one... Highest recommendation!
