Shitkatapult Empfiehlt (Shitkatapult Recommends) is a fine example of what's happening down at Shitkatapult HQ these days with 6 tracks from established artists like T.Raumschmiere and Apparat sitting comfortably alongside new talents. First up is Apparat with another extract from his thrilling live sets - this one's a kind of ravey breakbeat track that grows seamlessly. Next up there's Fraction with a mix of skittering Prefuse-ey beats and strange electronics and then label boss T.Raumschmiere makes an appearance with an ambient experiment in swelling bass. On the flip there's a wicked click-techno stomper from resident dub feinds Fenin & Meteo, a messy rocker from Magnum 38 that features some delightfully processed vocals and finally a delicate piano composition from newcomer Soap&skin.
