Remember that country rock album that Whitehouse never recorded when they upped sticks and settled in Detroit back in the early 2000s? Well, the good news is they didn't as Wolf Eyes had already outdone them instantly with 'Burn Your House Down'. A track that rips up the rulebook of 'noise' and takes it back to its punk and rock 'n' roll roots. It's basically the most enjoyable yet sickeningly addictive experience that you are likely to ever experience from a record anywhere, anytime. One to spin at your next dinner party no doubt. 'Desert Of Glue / Wretched Hog' is sort of like Tago Mago for the Mego generation, a rather rambunctious noise/dub job that sounds like Suicide jamming with The Fall when they started experimenting with drum & bass and acid house rhythms (see Levitate for evidence).

Dread is basically the best weirdo record you could ever hope to stumble across and if you do not kick the turntable over and smash the amplifier in a blind rage within 30 seconds of the needle hitting the groove, then my friend you can officially count yourself as hooked for life.
