Bokeh Versions (Jay Glass Dubs, Time Cow) reissue this 1995 LP from UK dub star Jonah Dan. Though he has played with everyone from Bush Chemists to Jah Warrior in a career that is now well into its third decade, Jonah Dan has often done his best work alone. Intergalactic Dub Rock is a fine example of his singular talent. It’s an album of tough dubs with a distinctly cosmic flavour. Spacey effects, delays and reverbs spiral across the mixes here, imbuing Dan’s mixture of analog and digital styles with a stargazing intrigue. This edition marks the first time that the previously CD-only ‘White Nile’ has been set to wax.
