Epic yet somehow understated dub techno abstractions from the mysterious Uon here on Huerco S’ label West Mineral. Stick this one on the turntable and be prepared to travel to the murky depths of Uon’s imaginary seascape, a place which though obviously indebted to Chain Reaction and GAS schools of thought also navigates its own path. Sure, the atmospheric dub techno thing has been done to death but this is a fine example of contemporary producers doing it right. Must check for fans of the aforementioned.
