Floating Points and Mafalda reissue arguably the best two mixes of Womack & Womack’s classic track Missing Persons Bureau! The lord of house music Frankie Knuckles provides a 9 minute dance floor burner on the A side; all epic strings and loose, low-slung rhythms that keep the track exciting for its duration. On the B we have the easier to find ‘folk’ version, a slightly moodier cut that strips the song down to its bare essentials. Just listen to those voices! Copies of the original Knuckles 12” can trade hands for up to £100 so this one is a no-brainer really.
