What’s Your Rupture? tend to be good at spotting the next big thing in art-punk. They were one of the first labels to sign up The Long Blondes, Iceage and Parquet Courts, and with Bodega they may well have struck gold once more. The Brooklyn quintet bear a strong resemblance to the aforementioned Parquet Courts, a feeling which is compounded by Endless Scroll being produced by PC singer/guitarist Austin Brown and captured on the same Tascam tape-recorder that did the job for PC’s Light Up Gold full-length. Entries like ‘Gyrate’ and ‘How Did This Happen?!’ also have a little groove-punk feel to them that recalls !!! and Le Tigre.
