The uncompromising Henny Moan/Young Druid/John T. Gast debuts on Kiran Sande’s Blackest Ever Black imprint with a limited 10 inch of insane and true to form productions. One side wistful, rugged dancehall and the other ‘deep and desolated pop-ambient’, Gast fits in right at home with the contemporary experimental fare that Sande champions. Operating in his own unique zone that is as comfortable reissuing forgotten industrial as it is putting out one track grime records, we need to thank Sande for constantly putting us on to such interesting stuff. Familiar with John. T Gast or not, give this a whirl.
