After two cassette releases, Cera Khin’s LazyTapes make their first foray into vinyl. With Peder Mannerfelt at the controls it was always assured that The Screw That Hold The World Together would be a winner. However, the three tracks here don’t follow the pattern Mannerfelt has established on previous releases. Gone is the no-BS techno style of ‘Equality Now’ and ‘Public Images’. Instead we get two impressionistic pieces of post-rave sound art and, on ‘The Toad’, a synthetic ambience of great beauty.
