The duo of Amos Childs (Jabu) and Sam Barrett (Neek) have been refining the O$VMV$M sound for a few years now, and this latest release might be their most fully-realised yet. In keeping with much of the best music from their native Bristol - Massive Attack, Tricky, Portishead and so on - a sense of creeping unease lurks at the corners of each of O$VMV$M’s dozen tracks. This feeling is only added to when you factor in the drizzly, disintegrated vibe of the production. Out via Idle Hands.
