At the peak of their powers, the stoner-metal pioneers conquered all before them, apexing with their genre-defining 2003 record Dopesmoker. In the fifteen years since the release of that album, many fans could have been forgiven for thinking that the band may have lost interest or simply not have it in them to undertake the mammoth task of producing another Sleep record.
