Massively sought-after Japanese rarity from Herbie Hancock’s massive back catalogue sees a welcome reissue from the Be With crew. They’ve been on quite a roll recently with the Alec Mansion, Pink Rhythm, Batteaux and Leon Ware! This collaboration between Hancock and vocalist Kimiko Kasai was only issued in Japan back in the day, a real shame considering the album houses Kasai’s wonderful versions of ‘I Thought It Was You’ and ‘Harvest Time’. Proceedings are brought to an end with an epic cover of ‘As Is’ by Stevie Wonder. One of the finest cover LP’s from the era to come out of Japan in our opinion.
