Klasse Recordings offshoot Klasse Wrecks (Your Planet Is Next, FJAAK) drop this EP of acid electro that harks back to the golden age of the late 80s and early 90s. On New Product, Privacy clearly knows the sound they’re going for and how to achieve it. The four tracks here each operate at quite different tempos - ‘The Flo’ is a speed-electro workout while fellow B-side ‘Whole Car’ runs at about half the BPM - but each one is designed, in their own way, for big dancefloor impact. Privacy fleshes out the tunes with natty 303 licks and some nicely-chosen vocal samples.
