Just over a year on from Tee Mango’s first EP for Will Saul & Fink’s Aus Music imprint and we have ourselves the follow-up. EP 2 - no messing with that title - is a fun, classy combination of Midwest house/deep house styles with a little disco thrown in for good measure. ‘Protoypical’ kicks things off in great fashion, immediately locking into a snappy jacking groove and not letting go for the subsequent five minutes. ‘Come A Little Closer’, which samples Inner Life’s ‘Make It Last Forever’, is some electro deepness that could pass for 80s Madonna. Things close out with ‘Wazoo’, a whirligig Chicago-style tune that shows off an irresistible synth bassline.
