A lovely little release this. Jerome Derradji’s Still Music (Larry Dixon, Seun Kuti) have got their hands on a bunch of rare tapes - mainly radio shows and mixes - from the golden age of Chicago House. This particular cassette showcases an hour-long Frankie Knuckles broadcast on WBMX from 1986. The quality is notably good for a tape restored from a reel that had been in a vault for more than two decades. Of course, the mix is a hi-grade jacking session from the late master DJ. Jack To The Lost Chicago Reels, indeed. Only 100 of these nice things have been made, so move fast.
