First glimpse of Mogwai's forthcoming soundtrack to the science fiction epic Kin.
As expected its even by Mogwai's high standard Donuts is an incredibly epic piece, loaded up with the group's trademark post-rock audio-lock sound. They circle the orbit of Every Country's Sun, yet the feel of being shot further out towards the even more infinite atmospheres of deepest space give the track an end of the lifeline emotive feel that's hard to not succumb to.
Really rather excellent stuff.
