Wisdom Teeth label boss Facta debuts on Livity Sound (Kowton, Peverelist) with a typically idiosyncratic two-track. Both ‘Dumb Hummer’ and ‘All The Time’ see Facta using the soundsystem-techno template which will be all-too-familiar to Livity Sound fans as a jumping-off point from which to incorporate fresh styles into the mix. Deep house, two-step, Detroit house and just a hint of Classical Curves-era Night Slugs are detectable in these two tracks, both of which are groovy enough for dancefloor deployment yet also imbued with a mellowness that makes for good home listening. This EP is another hit for the impressive Bristolian imprint.
