The artists in question all shared ideas and sounds during a residency at a Berlin studio in order to create these exclusive works. Big-hitters like Nils Frahm, Rival Consoles and Penguin Cafe all feature, and it’s clear that all of the artists here have raised their game for the occasion. Of course, this being Erased Tapes, it’s a very varied selection of styles. Everything from leftfield techno to contemporary chamber composition gets a look-in here.
