Always up to something, that Wolfgang Tillmans. Here we find the Turner Prize-winning artist taking on a challenging brief. On ‘Source’ he attempts to tell a story without words. Using only his voice, sometimes processed and sometimes accompanied by synthesisers, Tillmans eschews language and stumbles on a new form of communication. Roman Flügel provides two remixes - one is a techno odyssey as longform and experimental as Tillmans’ source material, while the ‘909 Mix’ transforms some of Flügel’s yips and chuckles into an uplifting house banger.
