Manchester based artists and print designers Dorothy present 'Electric Love Blueprint - A History of Electronic Music'

A vast history of electronic music mapped out onto the circuit board of a theremin (widely regarded as one of the earliest electronic musical instruments) The Electric Love Blueprint celebrates over 200 inventors, innovators, artists, composers and musicians who (in their opinion) have been pivotal to the evolution of electronic music from the invention of the earliest known sound recording device in 1857 to the present day. Early pioneers featured include Léon Theremin, Bob Moog, Karlheinz Stockhausen & John Cage to the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Kraftwerk and Warp artists Brian Eno and Aphex Twin. The design takes in genres and groups including Krautrock with Can, Tangerine Dream, Neu!, Faust, Cluster, Harmonia and Amon Düül II to Synthpop with Gary Numan, Human League, Depeche Mode, Yazoo and Pet Shop Boys before swerving towards electronica with New Order, The Prodigy, Massive Attack, LCD Sound System and Daft Punk.

All screen printed in metallic silver on to a blue uncoated stock.
