In Dead Precedents , Roy Christopher traces the story of how hip-hop invented the twenty-first century. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Roy Christopher is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Loyola University Chicago. He holds a PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in Communication from San Diego State University, and is the author of several books.
