We are looking for a front-end developer to join our development team. As a member of a small but fast-growing team you will be part of the expansion of our music retail and marketing platform, Ochre. With Ochre we use our technology and experience to assist a wide range of record labels, artists and brands with their retail, marketing and logistics.
As we develop our business we are looking for people who can help us focus in on the core of what is needed as we build a product that our clients love and solves problems for our industry.
As part of a small cross discipline team you will be working directly with UX designers and back-end developers and should feel comfortable with this. All members of our tech team contribute to our software design and development process. We use an agile development cycle to implement new features quickly and validate our business direction based on user feedback.
You will be involved in building application features from specs and mockups; working closely with both interface designers and back-end developers to build features that are usable and performant. You should be comfortable considering how users interact with our applications, and have an appreciation of UX; happy to contribute towards and challenge issues of usability within new and existing features.
You should be up-to-date with trends and best practices within front-end development, and familiar with building for accessibility, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. You have an eye for detail and understand the importance of semantic markup and well-written code.
