MOY presents Ryoko 03, a double-pack of 10” vinyl and the third in the Ryoko series. It follows a run of frenetic releases for the artist on a long list of celebrated labels like Batrachian, Touched Electronix, AC, Altered Sense, EMOTEC, Exalt, Nebulae, Sin Hilo, Zodiac Wax and We’re Going Deep.

‘Polykarp’ opens with a twisted mid range bass line and stripped back drum machine step, before layering in delicately chopped breaks and spacey synths. ‘Timeslip’ is a more heads-down affair of subdued breakbeat, with neat fills of surged bass and junglist drum workouts.

‘Parrots In A Graveyard’ combines that classic and timeless UK combo of break and Reese, building up steam and atmospherics with acid bleep melodies as it marches forward. ‘Deep Thunder’ follows up to close out on a similar tip, with warehouse-ready acid and broken beat alongside its early nineties hardcore synth stabs.

Ryoko 03 makes for another solid addition to the producers increasingly sought after back catalogue.
