Desert Sound Colony’s strong 2019 continues with the Cartographer EP. This triple-threat sees the one born Liam Wachs turning out more of the busy, tense tech-house tunes that he has been building his reputation with of late. The likes of Midland and Nathan Micay are recalled by a cut like ‘The Cartographer’, what with its rolling garage shuffle and cyberpunk synths. Guava - another artist who’s previously released on the Holding Hands label - lends a hand for ‘Gypsy Moth’.
