Following the single ‘Derriere / DJ Logic Please Forgive Me’ 12” released in summer 2019 gaining support by the likes of Four Tet, Ben UFO, Anthony Naples, Daphni and DJ Python, Logic1000 is due to release her self titled EP this February. To celebrate this, we asked her for a mix for our Bleep Series. Here we see her move across garage, house, techno and UK Bass styles including many of her own productions and edits.

Logic1000 first turned our heads with the 12” ‘Derriere’/‘DJ Logic Please Forgive Me’ back in the summer of 2019. Now, as the year closes out, the Melbourne-based producer delivers her fullest statement to date in the form of a self-titled EP. Both ‘Derriere’ and ‘DJ Logic Please Forgive Me’ appear once more, the former still bouncing like peak-time Addison Groove and the latter’s edgy house style holding up to repeated listens. Elsewhere on the Logic1000 EP we get psychedelic drum rollers in the Planet Euphorique vein (‘Precision’), eerie weightless dubs (‘The River Is Tight’) and evocative darbuka-dancehall hybrids (DJ Plead collaboration ‘Na’).
