The career of musician and producer Fernando Corona aka Murcof is long-running and vastly undefinable, ranging from kosmische synthesis and dubby ambient productions to electroacoustic composition and post-rock. His latest double album The Alias Sessions is a breathtaking record of crushingly beautiful compositions from an artist operating with aspirational vision. It’s a no-brainer then that his exclusive Bleep mix is just as genre-agnostic, acting as a whistle-stop tour of his nearest and dearest (for now, at least). We begin with goth-twinged dream pop from This Mortal Coil, the darkest corners of which bleed into the cinematic electronica of Cyan as we later jump continents with an abundance of global pop -- German synth chart-toppers and Japanese torch songs included.
