James Connolly lays his L-Vis 1990 alias to one side and puts on his Dance System robes for an hour of euphoric club pumpers in this Bleep mix. After a minute or so of scene-setting, Connolly finds the Dance System lane and stays in it for the duration. Everything here is deployed with the intention of maximum dancefloor destruction. It’s an approach which makes for an immensely fun listen and sees Connolly cycling through all manner of house styles - jacking Chicago, Dance Mania-style bangers, ghettotech and jittery sample-house are just a few of the grooves Connolly works throughout. This one’s Dance System by name, Dance System by nature.
