Across his forty-five-minute Bleep Mix, André Bratten investigates extreme sonics in a most bracing manner. In terms of pure volume, the opening tracks are the most sonically intense cuts here - beginning with Deathprod’s ominous ‘Disappearance/Reappearance’, a track which sounds like Blanck Mass guiding a ship into a lonely harbour at night, we are then treated to the extreme slew of Pan Sonic’s ‘Corona’ and Masami Akita & Russel Haswell’s avant-garde noise-punk number ‘Fend of Your Miserable Grief’. From here the middle of the mix enters a shadow-world, one of wintry atmospherics and Blade Runner synth tones, before an ominous and untitled closer returns us to roughly where we started out. Enter at your peril.
