An ode to the meditative and trance inducing vocals imparted by Siddhartha Belmannu on the album In The Cell Of Dreams - the mix features an intoxicating blend of Indian works alongside their own productions.

Shackleton and Wacław Zimpel’s first collaborative album in 2020 was a full force explosion of colour and sound. Now with Indian singer Siddhartha Belmannu, they dive into deeper and more immersive worlds on In The Cell Of Dreams, where mystical jazz and ambience is swept up in seas of dramatic instrumentation and reverberation. ‘The Ocean Lies Between Us’ is a longform exploration of metallic drones and resonance, with Belmannu’s melismatic vocals backed by bass synth susurrations and a choir of reeds filling the soundscape, while cosmic rockets whistle in takeoff.
