Move D – Building Bridges

Bleep Exclusive Clear Vinyl Limited Edition of 300 copies

Moufang’s eye for detail, less-is-more aesthetic and graceful production style are all present and correct on this new Move D LP Building Bridges. Club cuts make up the bulk of Building Bridges’ tracklist and deep house is the order of the day. From little more than cresting drums, purring basslines and woozy jazz chords Moufang is able to create tracks that both envelop you in a warm, tender glow and make you move.

Lafawndah – Ancestor Boy

Bleep Exclusive
Purple Vinyl
Limited to 200

Anyone who has heard Lafawndah’s previous releases - either her 2016 Warp EP Tan or 2018’s collaborative release with Midori Takada - will know that she is one of the most unique newcomers we’ve seen in years. However, the Egyptian-Iranian artist has outdone even our high expectations on her debut full-length Ancestor Boy. Released via Lafawndah’s own Concordia imprint, this is a record that both reinvigorates and reinvents experimental pop music while also breaking down stylistic, regional and cultural barriers.

KHIDJA – In The Middle of the Night

Bleep Exclusive
Transparent Red Vinyl
Limited to 100

Romanian production duo Khidja, who have released on Hivern Discs and Malka Tuti, present their first EP for DFA. With four tracks of inner city insomnia, The Middle Of The Night soundtracks the realm between being half awake and asleep. With jagged and pulsating synths and dubbed out howling vocals, we are left disorientated in the underground tunnels that connect the clubs of Bucharest, London, and Berlin. Summoning the spirits of Kraftwerk and John Carpenter, they cast a spell on the dancefloor that is a perfect addition to the ever-evolving DFA roster.
