On Journey in Satchidananda:
"This is so beautiful. An amazing bass line holds it together with lovely drone instrument and rhythmically moving drums and a harp from heaven plus Pharoah Sanders' incredible playing. What a track."
One of our staring points for this record was the sound of this e.p/ An electronic dance music track which for me carries a combination of that insistent soul churning clang with dystopian nowhere trombone and tortured ruptured speaking.
"One of those change your life moments, p73 was my intro into hiphop, a ground breaking record which pushed things forward for many, you can hear its influence all over, including on our record"
Artists should progress, grow, take risks, not stay comfortable for too long, Kid A is a fine example of this. This album took me to Warp, Warp took me to hiphop, hiphop saved my life, for real.

On Max Roach - January V:
"Props to Fourtet for a great collection, Max Roach's January V featured here is a glimpse of a master at work. Max Roach changed the way the drums are played. He led incredible bands and created brilliant music that challenged the status quo, all from the drum seat."
I'd slept on Nick Drake until recently but his music keeps finding its way to me. Riverman goes out to my Dad who passed away during the making of Race To Zero, RIP.
