This track is mind-blowingly lush and also heartbreaking. The way they've mixed the drums and bass is amazing. The first time I heard this outro, I nearly burst out in laughter, because I was struggling to comprehend how dense it was...Mental tune!
One of the first tracks that got me into house music, and inspired an alter ego side of me (Dan Kye). It's so raw and vibey. Love this one, and shout out to Rhythm Section!
An insanely underappreciated supergroup. Has elements of loads of music. Hip-hop, Jazz and electronica. Pretty much everything I'm into at the moment!
A beautiful mix of sound design and vibey electronic music. So many tasteful elements in this production. Everything seems so raw, but also so carefully mixed and placed.
I love how Floating Points takes risks. He continues to push the envelope with his own music and I love that. This tune reminds me of some old Radiohead tunes, the way the guitars and heavy drums continue to pulse throughout. Big love for this EP.
The most beautiful song in the world. A song I want to be played at my funeral. The tension and release is amazing.
Obviously a bit of a side-ball to my usual taste, but you can't fault this one. Amazing voice. Beautifully simple arrangement and great band. Shout out to Tom for introducinng me to Laura Marling. She's now one of my favorite artists!
