This one is one of my all time favourites. Savage atmosphere and great transitions. Distorted, mind-bending and meditative at the same time
If the music is about the sensation of a space or a place, this one is deep, deep down the ocean.
The intensity of the lush noises, a fresh take on atmospheric sound other than generic pads. I hate those pads and I hope Fennesz does as well.
When it comes to raw analogue experiments and hardware jams this album has to be mentioned. Fresh analogue noise, simple rhythms and patient interaction with the machines.
MØ7B (Unreleased Mix) is the best example of saying nothing, overpowering nothingness and observation.
Polyrhythm, digital noise, and fast transitions.
The short-attack sound at the beginning of "VI Scose Poise" is so pure you can almost see it dancing in front of you.
Sounds on the edge of human perception.
None of the usual techno breaks and rising sounds. Nothing imposing. Great sequences, gentle dub effects and patience.
