Ninja Tune

The ninja breaks were struck down all the way back in 1991 by London based deck-wreckers Matt Black and Jonathon More; Coldcut to you and I. Early nineties Ninja Tune twelve inchers were cut by the dopest producers on the beat-scape including Steinski, DJ Food, Herbaliser and of course Coldcut themselves with the seminal 'Autumn Leaves' (c.92). 1995 saw the trans-atlantic involvement with Shadow Records bringing the likes of Funky Porcini and London Funk Allstars to the black wax.

From then into the noughties and into the great-funk-beyond, Ninja now has a well respected Hip-Hop arm in Big Dada, a legendary series of mix CDs/ Radio shows (Solid Steel) and some awe inspiring stone-love compilations... the ZEN collection. What a lineup... Ninja never fails.
